hmm... Very nice. Thank you!
miyamoto you must give your comment about the national parks ... ;) Who you think that is the best and write down why you think so ;) :)
And about my opinion ... i think that the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (http://www.terragalleria.com/parks/np.hawaii-volcanoes.html)
are great because they are something unusual. There are some great forms of the ground caused by these huge volcanoes :) And the pictures of the lava are indescribable.Everyone looks at the good side the nature (for examples flowers, great views or something) but the nature have another scary side and this volcanos are the best example for me. ;) :)
Good night everybody!!!
SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!
howw are you?
degaetano why i cant post up comments on this website??
What do you mean Arian? You just posted asking a question.
Mr. DeGaetano I think the links are marvellous and every information is so useful to us.
Peter, I agree with you that the Hawaii Volanoes National Park is something very unique, but my favourites were The Virgin Islands.
It so interesting that the island was born of violent volcanic eruptions! Great pictures!!
Well I would like to say that my favorite national park is Yellowstone. It can cause many problems if it erupts...
Hello everybody!
1. What national parks did I like the best? Why?
The park that I liked most was the "Dry Tortugas National Park", because of it's history, the way it was built and because it still serves to the US Navy as a strategic place to control the shipping that occurs between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean. Secondly I liked Mount Rainer National Park and do not ask me why because I simply cannot explain it. All I can say is that if paradise looks similar to that, I definitely want to be there sometime. One of the best views I have ever seen.
Hello:)
Dry Tortugas National Park.
I am in love with that park.
I like it because it shows the real tropical beauty .
The other parks are good too , but none of them couldn't catch my eye like Dry Tortugas National Park did.
See you tomorrow.!
2. Which region contains the oldest, therefore the most eroded, mountains in the united states ?
That would probably be the Appalachian Mountains and the Canadian Shield. I researched these two regions and it shows out that some parts of the Appalachian Mountains are approximately 300 millions years old whereas parts of the Canadian Shield range from 600 to 1200 million years.
3. Which region contains areas of high and low desert, as well as contains places like The Grand Canyon and Death Valley ?
That region would be the Basin and Range.
4. Which region has the highest percentage of urban areas?
If i refer to the concentration of the cities that should be the Atlantic Coastal Plain.
5. What is the current population of the United States?
The current population of the US is: 305,115,709 and growing.
6. What region do you find the highest percentage of African-Americans in the United States?
If you look at the map number 5 you will see that 98-99% of the African-Americans are located in the Coastal Plain region.
That would be all for now, have a good night everyone and see you tomorrow.
Good job Shpend.
I love the National Park of American Samoa.
Amazing pictures..very nice.
The beautifullest place I've ever seen.
See you on monday..Bye Bye!!
Appalachian mountains are the oldest and the most eroded mountains in the U.S.Now they had become like vegetated flat hills.
Basin and Range contains high and low desert there is death valley and grand canyon(places that i really enjoyed looking them and i was fascinated by their beauty and their majesty).
In the north-east of coastal plain is a megalopolis which starts from Boston,Massachusetts,New York City and it comes down to Washington DC.I think that region has the highest percentage of urban areas.
Have you ever been in grand canyon and death valley.if yes can you describe me how do you felt, because when i see them in photo i get a feeling of sadness and happiness at the same time.I feel so happy seeing that magnificent beauty of nature but in the other side i feel bad that i cant enjoy that by being there.
And I'm also mad about Alaska Parks(have you been there?)
Hi! How are you? Bye
